掌で撫でながら、辻村史朗氏は語る。
茶盌は使うものであって、使うことでますますいい茶盌になる。
つくり手の元を離れ、時間も場所も越えて使い手に委ねられていく。
そこが茶盌の不思議でおもしろいところなのだ。
今展では、近年専心する志野の最新作を中心に、作家自ら選び抜いた茶盌を展覧いたします。

Shiro Tsujimura Tea Bowl Exhibition

“A good tea bowl can be touched all the time," Shiro Tsujimura says, stroking one in his palm.
Tea bowls are meant to be used. The more you use them the better they become. What’s more, tea bowls transcend time and space, leaving the hands who make them and becoming entrusted to the hands that use them. Such is the mysterious and fascinating aspect of tea bowls.
The artist selected by hand the tea bowls for this exhibition, centering on new Shino items he’s devoted himself in recent years.
