Artist Profile
Yuka Ubukata was born in Gunma prefecture. She completed the design course at Aichi Prefectural College of Ceramics in 2004, then studied pottery wheel techniques and glazing at a pottery studio. In 2011 Yuka built her own kiln and established an independent ceramics studio in Mashiko, Tochigi prefecture.
