＜略歴＞
1971年 京都に生まれる。
1994年 同志社大学卒業後、スウェーデンのコスタグラススクールに入学。吹きグラスの基礎技術を二年間学ぶ。
1996年 コスタグラススクール卒業。その後スウェーデン、ヴェネチア、ニュージーランドの工房で修行。
1998年 帰国。以降、全国で個展を中心に活動。
2003年 富山県福光にてGenta Glassスタジオを開設。
2011年 長野県 小海町高原美術館にて個展
2013年 台北、2019年ニューヨークにて海外個展

Artist Biography
1971 Born in Kyoto
1994 After graduating from Dōshisha University, entered Kosta Boda Glass Blowing School in Sweden and studied basic glass-blowing techniques for two years
1996 Graduated from Kosta Boda Glass Blowing School, then trained at studios in Sweden, Venice (Italy), and New Zealand
1998 Returned to Japan, and has held solo exhibitions nationwide since
2003 Opened Genta Glass Studio in Fukumitsu, Toyama Prefecture
2011 Solo exhibition at Koumimachi Kogen Museum, Nagano Prefecture
2013 Solo exhibition in Taipei
2019 Solo exhibition in New York
